Custom Backpacks with a Padded Laptop Sleeve

This is the deepest section of our catalog: 657 backpacks with a dedicated padded laptop compartment, sized from 13-inch ultrabooks up to 17-inch workstations. Prices start at $2.79 and run to $734.97, with a median of $55.88, so the same feature covers a new-hire welcome kit and a board-level gift. Minimums are workable — 12 or 6 pieces on most styles, and a single piece on several domestic-stock brands. Screen print and embroidery are the two most-used decoration methods here.

Specifying a laptop backpack for a whole team

We are a promotional products distributor: we source direct from the manufacturers and decorate to order, which means we can tell you what a compartment actually holds rather than repeating the marketing copy. The single most common ordering mistake is buying to a screen size instead of a device. A 15-inch business laptop and a 15-inch gaming laptop differ by more than an inch of width and a half inch of thickness, and a sleeve cut for the first will not close over the second. Send us the exact model your team carries and we will confirm fit before the order goes in.

Sleeve construction, suspension, and the 20-liter threshold

Look for three things. First, a suspended sleeve — one that stops an inch or two above the base of the pack, so a drop onto concrete does not transfer straight into the corner of the machine. Second, a back panel with enough structure that the laptop does not press into the wearer’s spine. Third, capacity: under roughly 20 liters you have a laptop and a lunch, and nothing more. Anything meant for overnight travel wants 25 liters and up, which is where our travel and hiking backpacks overlap this tag heavily.

Decorating over a padded panel

Padding changes what decoration is possible. Embroidery needs a flat, backable panel; on a heavily quilted front pocket the stitch can pucker, so the logo usually moves to the top of the pack or a side panel. Screen print and heat transfer sit flat on almost any face and carry fine detail well, which is why they lead the mix on these 657 items. High Sierra is the most-stocked brand in this group with 35 styles — see the full High Sierra range — followed by Port Authority, Solo, and Thule.
