How to Buy Custom Backpacks in Bulk
Start With the Quantity, Not the Style
The single biggest cost driver is quantity, and it changes which part of the catalog is even relevant. Under 25 units, you are shopping premium branded packs where the label does the work. Between 25 and 250, you are in the mainstream $20 to $60 band where most staff and client programs land. Above 500, drawstring and lightweight polyester styles dominate because per-unit cost and freight both start to matter more than the bag itself. Tell us the number first and we will show you what is actually orderable at it.
Minimum Order Quantities
Minimums start at 6 units across much of the laptop and travel range, and several premium branded packs can be ordered as single pieces for individual executive gifts. Drawstring and giveaway styles start higher — usually 50 to 150 units — because the per-unit economics only work at volume. Price breaks typically fall at 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 pieces.
Decoration: Embroidery, Screen Print or Transfer
Embroidery reads as the most premium and lasts longest, but it will not reproduce gradients, photographic detail or very thin type. Screen printing handles solid one- and two-color marks cleanly and is the value option at volume. Full-color and digital transfer are the answer when your logo will not reduce to flat colors. Proofs and Turnaround
Every order gets a free digital proof before anything is decorated. You approve placement and size on screen, and production only starts after that. Standard production runs 7 to 10 working days after proof approval, plus transit. If the bags are tied to an event date, say so on the quote request and we will confirm against current stock — and if you want to see the mark on the actual product first, use Request a Mockup.
